I should be your poster child. I have traveled all over the US in the last six months on business. In each city I search out the local Trek dealer and ask them how Madone sales are going. In Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Miami, Seattle, San Francisco they are thrilled with the new bikes and those that can get them in are running through them as quickly as they build them. Everybody seems to be getting bikes but I'm still waiting for my 5.5 in Logan, UT. Coulda had four from other locations but am sticking with my order. . .Hope I get it before the snow falls. Keep up the great work on raising the bar and before my 2300 comes apart.
I was hit by a car on my bike, 2 days after riding the LOTOJA. I am waiting on my new Trek Madone WSD 5.1 to be ready. I'm SUPER JAZZED!!!! Thanks for the terrific bikes! Keep em' comin!
I have recently purchased a Madone 5.1 and I absolutely love it! Everything about it is well thought out. The handeling, the ride, componants etc. all just make the bike what it is, a great ride!!!
I just recevied my 2008 TTX9.9. WOW! It is one sweet looking ride.
It is very cold where I live right now but I had to test ride it. I race a 2007 6.5 SSL and so I needed a comparison between the two bikes. I rode the same piece of road on both bikes at the same level of intensity.
The TTX was at least 7-8 kilometers faster on the inclines.
There is no doubt, I will break the hour in the 40k with my new ride. The question is by how much.
Hi im a young triathlete from Wales in the UK i have allways used trek bikes and have just become the welsh champion at triathlon, aquathlon and duathlon but next year i would like to be very competitive in the british championships and compete in the european and world championships i think that this bike would give me the opportunity to do this Thank you for looking at this at e-mail
Man, what an amazing bike! I just started riding seriously last year. My plan was to commit to two or three triathlons this spring and summer. That was the plan anyway, then the Army and this war in Afghanistan beckoned to me! Oh well, I will be home next January and hope to purchase one. If I can convince the wife! That will give me the winter and mud season to train-up to whoop some tail in the New England area......I hope.
i had a bad time trial accident on my trek time trial bike and damaged it too much to fix i (didn't have the money) i also damaged my hip so bad i had trouble walking so i would love to win a TTX.
Hi,
I am a confirmed french triathlete, and do run my races on a old R800 Cannondale machine. I dont know if i fell in love with the Trek brand since Lance Armstrong won Le Tour de France 7 times, but TREK do really create very beautifull machines. However, i can't afford such these expensive machines. So, this is a way to give me all the chances to win what is for me the "Rolls Royce" of the cycling machines: the TTX 9.9. Thanks in advance. Pierre.
