I have built a size 58 6.9 pro frame with the Bontrager aluminim stem, VR bars, clincher wheels, fizik Aliante saddle, speedplay zero pedals, zero g ti brakes and completed with SRAM Red crank, shifters, derailleurs, 1090 cassette, xxx light cages and a poloar computer. Total weight (dry) is 14.1 lbs. SWEET!
Not a 6.9, but since it is the same frame (Red): my 6.5 Pro at 56cm is 15.54 lbs. out of the box with Dura-Ace pedals and standard plastic cages. That is a stock bike folks...Wow!
So that's how everyone's been finding my blog lately... Thanks for the recognition, Scott! I hope the rest of the stuff is entertaining and interesting as well.
Any hope of putting out a SRAM Red model? Seems like even though Trek is slower than others to adopt SRAM road parts, the Astana sponsorship would make at least a SRAM Red model worthwhile...

I can't see any weights in my browser. it just says "Here are some weights for the Madone 6.9 bikes.
Matt Magee"
and then there's a picture.
