The release of the new Project One site has been delayed. No new date has been set yet. Making a Best in Class custom bike program takes time. Thanks for your patience.

Man what a bummer - I can't wait until I can finally place an order for the new Project One. This is my Christmas present and it just can't come fast enough. I check the site daily. I know I know "Get a life" but man riding has become such a passion and I love his new bike. See ya on the Road!!
I heard a nasty rumour today that the project one launch has been pushed-out until late 2008. I've been putting off buying a 6.9 in anticipation of the sweet designs that could be created with the new larger tube surfaces - especially after I saw the new astana bikes. I really hope that my sources have this wrong and it turns out to be just a rumour... Can anyone from Trek give us an ETA?...
I too was waiting patiently for Project One to arrive. That is until my LBS got a letter from Trek saying that Project One is on hiatus at least until the end of the month but more like a few months. There is such a high demand for the stock Madones that they can't keep up. Luckily I had a 6.5 Pro waiting on hold for me at the store when the letter arrived (she's beautiful).
C'mon, Scott...throw us a bone here...I've been sitting on my stack of Christmas cash, which is burning a hole in my pocket...and had Jan 1 08 circled on my calendar in anticipation of ordering a new ride... Should we check back in a 6 months, a month, a week, or should I keep hitting refresh? Some news is better than nothin'.

Any update? Sorry to pester, but I'm anxious to start blasting on a new Madone.
I own a Trek Pilot 5.2; it's been a tremendously solid bike for three years; even carrying me around Mt. Rainier (150 miles) in one day last July.
I'm planning to make the 220+ mile ride on my new Project One Madone from Champaign, IL to Waterloo, WI to take in a plant tour in the spring.

Yes - sure would appreciate an ETA from someone at Trek so we can all plan accordingly. Looking forward to a new ride in 2008!
