For the first time in its three year history, Trek Bicycle made an expo presence at the Tour of California. Teams riding Trek bikes have won stages and the overall at the ToCA in the past. This year we put in a big effort to be more in touch with the public by having a booth space.
Set up and ready to go before the expo was officially open
The weather cooperated for the first half of the week. The crowds were great.

The boycott could grow to be big enough to catch the ASO's attention.

I will not watch TdF this year if Astana is not invited. I think other the teams should boycott… what comes around goes around. One day they may find themselves unfairly not invited to a race.

I won't watch any bike race without Trek's team taking part.
The way the ASO is going my bike shop's team will get an invite by 2010 because there won't be any trade teams left!

I think everyone needs to read Brewer's column over at Johan's site. I think he's hit the nail on the head as far as the proper business model should be. It's either something along those lines or we're just going to keep getting the same old same old...

Whom ever the winner may be this year, they will know in their hearts that it is all a lie if Team Astana is not allowed to compete. The only thing this new Astana team is guilty of is keeping the same team name. ASO is a hypocracy!!!

I don't agree with ASO's decision, but Let Levi Ride? Why not "Let Contador ride?" Why aren't you guys rallying behind your tour winner instead? Hey, let our 3rd place rider race!
