I was standing on the finish line as Alberto came in to  win the Giro.  He is only the second Spaniard in history to win the Giro and I am already hearing that he is the next Indu rain.  Although Alberto will never admit it to anyone except only maybe to himself, he looks to be the future champion of cycling.

Alberto received a custom Pink Bike from Trek for his effort.  SInce we were not sure of anyone's form for the Giro we had to rush and make this bike happen at the very last minute.  The bike looks amazing and I have to say that Pink sure looks better than yellow right now......

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a photo with the Giro trophy especially since I was wearing the appropriate colored shirt.  It is quite a cool trophy because all previous winers of the Giro and the year in which they one are labeled on the trophy.

The whole Astana Team came together during this Giro.  They had a ton to overcome and as you would expect they were all smiles at that finish line.  Congratulations guys, job well done.
